<p>RIA offers custom prescription (RX) eyewear for athletes who want the fit and performance of RIA frames with corrective lenses. Available options include <strong>single-vision</strong> and, on select frames, <strong>progressive</strong> prescriptions. Each prescription and frame combination must be reviewed and approved by our RX team before purchase.</p><h2 id="which-frames-support-prescription-lenses">Which frames support prescription lenses?</h2><p>Single-vision options are offered in select RIA frames, including Reflex, Vantage, Versa, Tempo, Forte, Nova, Contour, Aura, Phantom, and Zephyr. Progressive options are available in select styles, including Tempo, Forte, Nova, Contour, Aura, Phantom, and Zephyr. Availability depends on your individual prescription and fit measurements. Model One, Response, and Synergy are not currently available with prescription lenses.</p><p>Our RX team will evaluate your prescription, measurements, and the available lens options. If approved, our team will provide ordering instructions and a checkout link.</p><h2 id="how-long-do-rx-orders-take">How long do RX orders take?</h2><p>Prescription lenses are custom-made by our U.S. partner lab specializing in sports prescriptions. Production typically takes <strong>15&#x2013;30 business days after your approved order is placed and checkout is completed</strong>, plus shipping transit time. U.S. RX orders receive complimentary FedEx Express shipping after production.</p><h2 id="what-if-im-new-to-wraparound-prescription-eyewear">What if I&apos;m new to wraparound prescription eyewear?</h2><p>Some customers, especially those new to wraparound prescription lenses, may need <strong>up to two weeks</strong> to adapt. Gradual wear in everyday settings can help. If you experience significant visual discomfort, contact our RX team promptly. If difficulties persist after two weeks of regular wear, submit our <a href="https://riaeyewear.com/pages/rx-issue-lab-check">RX Issue &amp; Lab Check form</a>.</p><h2 id="can-i-return-rx-eyewear">Can I return RX eyewear?</h2><p>Eligible RX preference-based returns may be requested within <strong>30 days of delivery</strong>. Choose a refund of the merchandise amount paid minus a <strong>$95 custom-lens fee per returned RX pair or lens set</strong>, or the <strong>full merchandise amount paid as non-expiring RIA store credit</strong>. Eligible RX exchanges do not incur the $95 deduction. RX returns are coordinated directly with our team rather than through the non-prescription return portal.</p><h2 id="what-if-something-is-wrong-with-my-prescription-lenses">What if something is wrong with my prescription lenses?</h2><p>Verified RIA or lab manufacturing and order-entry errors are corrected at no cost. If there may be an issue with the prescription provided, our RX team will review the circumstances and work with you toward an appropriate solution; free remakes are not automatic. Because custom production may begin quickly, a request within 24 hours cannot always be guaranteed. RIA cannot guarantee that a purchase will qualify.</p><h2 id="can-i-get-reimbursed-by-vision-insurance">Can I get reimbursed by vision insurance?</h2><p>Before ordering, ask your vision insurance provider whether it offers benefits for prescription sports eyewear purchased from an out-of-network retailer, what limits apply and what documentation is required. Wraparound lenses have a more curved shape and may require an adjustment period of <strong>up to two weeks</strong>.</p><h2 id="what-can-i-do-while-adjusting">What can I do while adjusting?</h2><p>If your vision feels mildly unfamiliar but manageable, start with short periods of wear in comfortable everyday settings and gradually increase the time.
