What is RIA's warranty, and how do I submit a claim?Updated 19 hours ago

RIA stands behind the quality of our eyewear with a one-year manufacturing warranty from the original purchase date on eligible non-prescription and prescription products. A warranty replacement does not restart the original one-year period.

What does the warranty cover?

Our warranty covers qualifying manufacturing defects under normal use, including issues such as lens-tab chipping, cracking or webbing attributable to a manufacturing problem. Scratches, accidental damage and normal wear are not covered by the published manufacturing warranty.

All claims are reviewed individually. When a covered style or color is unavailable, our team will work with you toward an appropriate resolution, which may include a comparable replacement or store credit.

How do I submit a claim for non-prescription eyewear?

Start with the claim process on our Warranty Policy page. Have your order information and clear photos of the issue available. Our team will assess the claim and explain next steps.

How do I submit a claim for prescription (RX) eyewear?

Use our RX Issue & Lab Check form for all prescription concerns, including potential warranty issues, lens problems and accidental frame damage. RX lenses may need lab assessment or remounting, so do not attempt repairs or lens swaps yourself.

How long does a replacement take?

Timing depends on the issue, availability and required work. Custom prescription remakes generally require the normal 15–30 business-day production period, plus shipping; our team will explain the expected process after reviewing your claim.

For complete terms, please review the RIA Warranty Policy.
