My eyewear is slipping, fogging or uncomfortable. What can I do?Updated 19 hours ago

A secure, comfortable fit depends on your frame size, face shape, nose contact and the way the frame curves around your face. A few fit checks can help you decide whether an adjustment or a different frame is the right answer.

My eyewear slides down my nose

First, make sure the nose pads and temple contact points are clean and dry. A Wraparound frame often provides a more enclosed, secure fit. RIA's Versa and Vantage offer adjustable temple systems that can help fine-tune fit. Do not try to bend non-adjustable frames.

My frames feel too tight at the temples

A snug sports fit is normal, but painful pressure can mean the frame is too narrow. A roomier frame is often a better solution than forcing the temples outward. See our Find Your Frame Fit guide.

My lenses touch my cheeks or eyelashes

This can result from bridge or nose fit, frame curvature or how closely the lenses sit to your face. Vantage and Response have customer-adjustable nose systems; some other frames may sit farther from the face depending on your features. Fit varies from person to person.

My lenses keep fogging

Fogging depends on humidity, temperature, sweat and airflow around the lenses. Keeping the lenses clean and improving ventilation can help. A frame that sits slightly farther from your face, such as Synergy for some customers, may also improve airflow.

For extremely humid conditions, we recommend RIA's 2-in-1 Anti-Fog / Lens Cleaning Spray Kit to help reduce fogging. Spray both sides of the lenses, wipe with the included clean microfiber cloth and allow to dry. Reapply as needed. The spray helps manage fogging, but may not eliminate it completely in every environment.

Can I adjust the frame myself?

Only certain RIA components are designed for customer adjustment. Reflex, Vantage and Versa have adjustable temple systems; Vantage and Response have adjustable nose systems. Do not bend other TR90 frame arms or attempt titanium temple adjustment at home. RX lenses should never be removed or installed by customers.
